High Holiday Services

UM Hillel’s Rabbi is in partnership with students and staff, and provides a full schedule of High Holiday offerings. Community members are welcome to join us for our High Holiday Services. Information and ticket availability are posted on our website one month before Rosh Hashanah.

Guest Speakers

During past school years, we were happy to include community members when Benny Gantz, Navatli Bennet and NOVA survivors spoke at UM Hillel. We welcome you to join us for future events. Sign up for our “Stay in the Know” newsletter to hear about future speakers.

big night out

Big Night Out is UM Hillel’s signature fundraising event, launched in April 2025 with an unforgettable evening of laughter, inspiration, and community featuring comedian Alex Edelman. The second annual event in April 2026 featured Ben Seidman for an evening of wit, wonder, and warmth of community. Annually, the event brings together 200 community members and raises needed funds in support of Jewish student life at the University of Miami.

The Big Night Out 2027 will be announced here in the fall.
